- What formats can I choose from?
We offer a basic format consisting of a banner logo across the top, a small logo or picture on the top left and a navigation bar running down the left side. You can see examples here and here
Minor variations on this theme are acceptable and you have total control over image placement and color schemes, including links and backgrounds.
What colors can I use?

How many pages can I have?
Up to six pages, including the "index" (or "home") page are included in the basic cost.
What can I put on my pages?
Just about anything you want, although most writers choose a home page that lists their credits, a bio and perhaps a picture, along with individual links to clips.

What about graphics and pictures?
The basic plan includes one specially designed square logo graphic with your name or initials.

Other graphics or pictures that you supply in gif or jpg format can be included free of charge
We also have access to many high quality, stock photos, and those are available at $5.00 per image.
How about updates?
Updates are reasonably priced and available on demand; the turn-around time is approximately 48 hours.
Should I get my own domain name?
That depends on your needs. A personalized domain name (YourName.com) does foster author recognition, which is an important consideration for a writer, and they are available at minimal cost. But it is not necessary to have a domain name in order to have a web site.
If you choose not to buy your own domain name, your website url will read like this: http://www.TheWriteWebsite.com/YourName.html
Whichever option you choose, we'll help guide you through it; we'll even handle the purchase of the domain name for you, if you'd like.
What if I have zero computer knowledge?

Do I get an email address?
Yes, you can have two email addresses
I write adult-themed material...will you take me as a client?
Yes, we will accept writers of adult-themed material, as long as the content is legal.
What will you need from me?
We'll ask you to send the clips you'd like to use via email, either as Word docs or a scanned images. (If you don't have a scanner, there are many places that will handle that for you, or, if you prefer, you can send the publication to us and we'll scan it for you.) We'll also ask for your preferences as to color, logo, font, etc. but you can also leave those decisions to us if you'd like.
